Flambe~~

was on night shift the whole of last week and today is my off day.. ahhh dun really like night shift as compared to morning shift.. so no life.. its like sleeping till noon and going straight to at 3pm, reaching home close to midnight.. if my parents doesnt pick me up from work i wouldnt see them for 1 week..

yeah flambe lessons makes outlet training much more interesting.. cause its one of the times trainer is less serious, we joke ard.. crap a little.. make fun of one another.. and most imptly we get to taste the end product.. yummm!

and i realised, when u eat with one big grp of ppl, sharing one small plate of stuff.. its extra yummy.. heh!

Mr Clarence Lua, one of our trainers at petals, demostrating for us..

Tropical Dessert, looks normal but its really yummy and the most complicated dessert of all...and... this is Cherry Jubilee

took photo of one of the comments card..

it reads : every time we visit Singapore from England we visit Petals. The quality and service is always excellent

hehe.. its always comments like this that makes life at Petals less monotonous! esp when u're servicing his table.. ;)

anyway was reading a few of ur blogs.. talking abt CHRO (another class of ppl who're working with my class for this outlet attachement) peeps..

for my shift, i wld say some of them are real good.. like they knw what to do.. how to react to last min stuff.. and sometimes they're the one guiding us along.. of course there r a few really blur ones, dunno what is happening, they will just "hide" when things comes along..

esp out to some CHRO peeps like Sam, Jerome, Yong Hui, Wei Siong, Anthony.. =) really enjoy working with u guys.. 3more weeks before u guys leave Petals.. ahhh! days are full of laughters with u all.. and time flies when u laugh it off.. sorry if we girls (myself, Rebecca and Candy) get a little lazy at times and ask u guys to do most of the stuff! haha!

with less grumbles, i'm adapting to Petals-Life.. and trying to make use of my time there to learn as much as i can.. like Mr Lua is gonna test us on all the cocktails recipes and menus this coming thurs.. keep our brains working before it gets rusty! he will shoot us with questions like..
"What is the butter of the butter Petals is using?"
"1 box of tea bags can use for how long??"
"1 pot of tea can serve how many guests?"

yeah.. all these, he expects us to know and to take note.. though he can be quite naggy and long winded at times.. his briefing can last up to 2.5hrs.. standing on heels for 2.5hrs! listening... grr.. its tough at times ! he do point some very impt stuff at times..

something which i learn frm him.. "we shouldn't walk straight" yeah.. cos we shld always be observant to our surrounding.. attending to as many guest as we can.. =) point noted!

its morning shift for me coming week and off day is on friday =) gonna meet Eunice and Yixian for chit chat session on thursday night at our usual spot~ Eastpoint's coffee bean.. peaceful place!

update on tonight's family dinner soon~~~

cheers peeps. misses many~
